WOOL-CRAFT - FROM SHEEP TO SHOW Tutor Hannah KristelSaturday 22nd May 9.00 - 4.30pmThere will be an introduction to the course including a history of using wool. We will visit a small-holding to shear the sheep and bring back the wool for sorting, washing and simple forms of spinning the wool.
Saturday 10th July 9.00 - 4.30pmToday we will introduce the processes of wool carding, dyeing and more ways of spinning. We will also learn to make a dye bath.
Saturday 18th September 9.00 - 4.30pmWe will further investigate the dyeing process and begin personal projects, including knitting and felting. These projects may be continued at further agreed evenings in a group or simply taken home to complete. It is possible that a wool-working group could begin!
